How it works

From your Golf ID to real rewards

GolfMint sits on top of the golf you already play. No new handicap, no admin, no catch. Here's the whole flow.

01

Connect your Golf ID

Join GolfMint using your Golf ID or GolfLink number. GolfMint never asks for your Golf Australia, club or GolfLink password.

02

Play your normal golf

Play eligible rounds as usual through your club. There's no separate GolfMint scorecard and no manual score entry required.

03

We track and verify your rounds

GolfMint automatically tracks your official handicap record. Once an eligible round appears, we verify the result and update your GolfMint account.

04

Compete, earn and mint

Your eligible rounds count towards GolfMint's weekly and monthly competitions and handicap-improvement rewards. Win and earn GM Points, then use them to mint rewards or monthly giveaway entries in the app.

1 — Connect your Golf ID

Join GolfMint using your Golf ID or GolfLink number — it takes under a minute, and GolfMint never asks for your Golf Australia, club or GolfLink password. We never issue a handicap, and you never leave your club. If you get your handicap through Future Golf or a social club, that works too.

  • Golf ID or GolfLink number accepted
  • No passwords — just your Golf ID or GolfLink number
  • No new handicap, stay at your club

2 — Play your normal golf

Nothing about your golf changes. Play eligible rounds as usual and submit your score through your normal club process. There's no separate GolfMint scorecard, and no scorecard uploads or manual score entry required.

  • No scorecards, screenshots or manual entry
  • Score through your usual club process
  • 8 eligible rounds to be ranked

3 — We track and verify your rounds

GolfMint automatically tracks your official handicap record. Once an eligible round appears, we verify the result and update your GolfMint account — ready to count in competitions.

  • Rounds must first appear on your official record
  • GolfMint handles tracking and verification
  • Your account updates as rounds are verified

4 — Compete, earn and mint

Your eligible rounds count towards national weekly and monthly Net & Gross competitions and handicap-improvement rewards. Your rewards are awarded as GM Points, which you can use to mint gift cards from GolfBox, Woolworths, Coles, JB Hi-Fi, Bunnings, Kmart and more, plus GolfMint merch.

  • Weekly & monthly Net + Gross boards
  • 1,000 GM Points per verified 1.0 drop within the month
  • Point requirements shown in the Rewards Store

The practical details

Yes. If you get your official handicap through Future Golf, a social golf club, or any Golf Australia affiliated provider, you can join GolfMint and use that same handicap.

Built to grow with the community

GolfMint is built so member value can scale as the community grows. As more golfers join, the goal is bigger prize pools, more competition formats and more ways to earn — we just won't promise numbers we can't fund.

Connect your handicap in under a minute

Link your Golf ID or GolfLink number and start competing from your next eligible round.
